Where To Find Dirt Cheap Used Audi

June 30th, 2009

Over the past few years I have seen very favourable reviews of Audi cars on programmes like Top Gear. I decided that I wanted to invest in one, but due to the depreciation of new cars at the moment, I chose to buy a Used Audi from my local Sytner Dealership. I was presented with a very large choice of cars and took my time to pick the right one. After a few test drives and much deliberation I decided to drive away with a Used Audi TT. The Audi TT is a perfect car for those who like the sportiness of roadsters, but enjoy the practicalities of saloon cars. The Used Audi TT supplies you with all the motoring pleasure you could wish for.

The very first time I drove my Used Audi TT I knew i twas going to make me very excitable in deed. The smoothness of the drive was matched by the urgency of the powerful engine. I felt safe; cocooned within the tough body that has passed all of Audi’s rigorous safety tests. I also felt as though I was driving a luxury car like a King. The interior of the Used Audi TT has been designed to a very high specification and makes the driver or passenger feel as though they are inside a considerably more expensive car. I thoroughly enjoy every driving experience I have in my Used Audi TT regardless of how I am feeling.

Be Smart use Electric Scooters

June 29th, 2009

With the doom and gloom on the economy expected to continue to next year and perhaps will remain in the next 2 years have caused consumers to cut down on their spending. One of the big ticket items is actually transportation, in this case our private own cars which could leave a big dent on our monthly budget if the price of crude oil continues to be unpredictable. With rising living cost and job uncertainties, these are the things that we can possibly cut down. One of the ways to reduce our reliance on cars is to use alternative transportation such as public transport or electric vehicles eg. Electric scooter or bike. Electric scooters are particularly suitable for single working adult who live between 1-10 miles from their office. The price of an electric scooter is not expensive ad it ranges from £300-£3,000 depending on the type and model. Not only that it reduces the need for fuel consumption, it’s also friendly to the environment and I think it’s about time we do something for mother nature after all these years of taking from her. Electric scooters, which run on batteries that can be recharged from a domestic socket, are predicted to take off this year, as the price of fuel leaves many commuters with increasingly high transport costs. Zooming at 40 to 50 km per hour (about 20 miles) doesn’t seem like real speed these days especially with some modern sports cars and bikes that are capable to do 300-400 km an hour. But what if you do not need to pay for gasoline anymore to travel at the lower speed. I think most working class people wouldn’t mind the slower pace but could save hundreds or thousand of dollars per year on fuel is worth it all especially during the current economy climate. Well the good news is that we can do that now especially with the improvement of alternative fuel vehicles. We have the hybrid engine car where it has both electric and gasoline engine for better fuel consumption and friendlier to the environment and it’s also suitable for families with kids. However if you are single and looking for something economical to travel within the city, look no further, I highly recommend that you buy an electric scooter.

There have been a great interest in electric scooters in the recent years and a few new companies have entered the market. Two of them that have entered the market in the last month in a hope to cash in drivers that are being hit by the high price of petrol, combined with the increasing desire to cut down their carbon emissions. Ego and E-Max, both of whom launched their scooters last month, have had great success since they started selling their vehicles. E-Max has sold about 200 of its more powerful £2,760 vehicle in the last three weeks. One of the most popular electric scooters is Xtreme scooters. The price range for a new  Xtreme electric scooter is between US150 to 900 depending on the model. If you want a speedier scooter, I would recommend the Xtreme-XB500 and for the entry level, the Xtreme  X10 will be a good buy. Further more, most cities especially in the UK nowadays are offering free parking for electric scooters and its kind in order to encourage the people to switch to this type of transport. Another extremely popular scooter is the Ego. priced at about USD1000, the Ego’s bike looks astonishingly cheap and people might be willing to experiment with it to keep their cost of living low in the coming days.

Some scooters come with a motor protected circuitry which enables it to accelerate before the assists starts working. Once the throttle is released, the scooter can coast freely as commonly seen in gasoline super bikes. The technology also allows the scooter to glide smoothly including on hilly roads

Quick 6 Step Guide to a Car Check Up

June 27th, 2009

To maintain a smooth running car ride, you need to service it regularly. The good news is that even though a mechanic can do everything for you, most of it can be done in your garage. We’re not talking about overhauling your engine or transmission. We’re referring to the little things that can influence your car’s performance, maneuverability, and handling over time. Below, I’ll provide a 6-step checklist that you can use to make sure your vehicle is in tip-top condition.

Step 1 - Check The Oil

Get used to checking your oil every few weeks. This way, your car engine will be well lubricated for driving and should set your mind at ease. Often, engines will begin burning or consuming too much oil. Checking it periodically will help you keep on top of potential problems.
